Was It All A Lie?

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu did not hide his outrage over Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's remarks regarding the Holocaust. More specifically, he was outraged over Ahmadinejad's denial of the horrific event.

"What of the survivors whose arms still bear the tattooed numbers branded on them by the Nazis? Are those tattoos a lie, too?" he asked during a September 24 U.N. meeting. As he spoke, he brandished two documents for all to see; "a copy of the minutes of the Wansee Conference, in which Nazi officials planned the Final Solution that led to the killing of six million Jews and the original blueprints of the Auschwitz-Birkenau death camps", according to Rueters.com.

"They contain a signature by Heinrich Himmler, Hitler's deputy himself. Are these plans of the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp where one million Jews were murdered ... a lie, too?"

Netanyahu was justly concerned. He and Israel are also demanding that the world "rally against Iran" because of their alleged nuclear programs. Their concern was further reinforced by repeated talk of destroying the Israeli state. No one wants another Holocaust.
