Roethlisberger Scandal

Ben Roethlisberger, of the Pittsburgh Steelers, has been a role model for young boys and girls around the country. This may have changed in the last month though due to Roethlisbergers recent sexual assault charges.

The GBI (Georgia Bureau of Investigation) confirmed that the Roethlisberger was hosting a party at his house where he openly displayed himself to a young woman. Roethlisberger was then reported as saying “you can do what ever you want” to the woman. A week later Roethlisberger is said to have forced his hand up a woman’s skirt. Recent document said that the accuser claimed Roethlisberger showed off his private parts and dragged on of the woman to the back of the Georgia night club.

Roethlisberger was not charged with any crimes but is waiting to hear what the NFL and the Pittsburgh Steelers have to say.

“Roethlisberger will have to work hard to rehabilitate his image,” said Art Rooney the Steelers team president.

Roethlisberger hopes to gain back the trust and support of the NFL

“I’m truly sorry for the disappointment and negative attention I have brought to my family, my teammates and coaches, the Rooneys and the N.F.L,” said Roethlisberger, “I absolutely want to be the leader this team deserves, valued in the community and a role model to kids”.

The NFL still has not decided Roethlisbergers fate. Whatever it will be possibly loosing his fans will be enough punishment.
