Everyone knows of the CNN talk show host, Larry King has had his fair share of wives. At his not so young age of 76, Larry King has had 7 wives, 8 including Shawn. He has yet to find one that he is deciding to stay with. Shawn King and Larry King both filed for divorce on Wednesday in Los Angeles Superior Court. The problem, “irreconcilable differences” and yet they both disagreed over the custody of the two children from the 12 years of marriage. The Kings have two sons, ages 9 and 11.

Documents state that the couple separated on Tuesday, the same say Shawn King signed her papers. Larry King’s signature was dated Wednesday, and both petitions were filed Wednesday. The filing offers very little detail about what marital property King will claim, the petition lists the Beverly Hills, California, home where the two ex couple has resided for the past two years.

Aside from that house, they have also found comfort in two other homes in Utah. Larry King also asked that the court would declare any “purported transmutation agreement” to be “null, void and unenforceable.” The California law provides for marital contracts, known as transmutation agreements, to designate ownership of certain property between spouses.
